The Owl cabin bed is the ultimate big bed . Classic and discreet, its design makes it ultra-sturdy.
 Handcrafted in our French workshop , with solid, unknotted pine wood , from the FSC protected forest label.
 In compliance with EN 716-1 standards , our beds are designed to be solid and durable , with environmental awareness right down to the reuse of every piece of wood.
 Delivery is free in mainland France (islands and mountainous areas with supplement), delivery in Europe is possible, the price will be adjusted when choosing delivery.
 What size should I choose?
 • Standard French child size 70 x 140 cm: the most compact, up to 6/8 years.
 • Size 90 x 140 cm: up to 6/8 years.
 • Standard Ikea size 70 x 160 cm: longer but not too wide, up to 8/10 years.
 • Custom size 90 x 160 cm: up to 8/10 years.
 • Standard size for 1 person 90 x 190 cm: ideal for lasting as long as possible.
 For normal and shortened opening, you will have the choice during assembly to install it on the left or right.
 From what age?
 Although it is still recommended to have babies co-sleep for as long as possible (the WHO recommends a minimum of 6 months), more and more parents are choosing to skip the crib and go straight to a floor bed.
 Whether it's to make breastfeeding easier or to help with difficult nights while being comfortable, the cabin bed offers many advantages to young parents.
 Some people choose to position the opening facing the wall at first so that restless sleepers cannot slide out of bed.
 Personally, I recommend giving them the opportunity to move freely as soon as they start crawling or moving around. This bed is great for helping children who need comfort at night, but also for serial suckers (like my son!), allowing parents to lie down comfortably even during nighttime wakings and feedings.

 If you want to transform your drawer into an extra bed, you will need a mattress no thicker than 13cm. To transform it into a storage drawer, you can add a wooden board (not supplied) to the bottom of the drawer, which can be cut in your local hardware store, for example. You can measure the size of this board once the drawer is assembled. If you need to plan ahead, please contact me in advance.
