From what age? In Montessori pedagogy, there is no minimum age required to have children sleep in a floor bed. But I always advise parents to keep baby in the parents' room for the first 6 months (WHO recommendations so that baby can adjust to the parents' breathing and thus reduce the risk of SIDS). Some parents choose to position the opening facing the wall at first so that the barrier is complete in front, but I advise giving them the possibility of moving freely as soon as they start to crawl or move around. This bed is great for helping children who need comfort at night but also for serial night feeders (like my son!), which allows parents to lie down next to it if necessary.
